Britney Dehnert is a mom of two daughters. Her great loves are her husband (aka her best friend), her two daughters, and her twin passions of writing and teaching. Britney’s poetry is one of the ways that she connects with God and reminds herself of His truth and promises. She started writing her prayers in poetry form when her second daughter had to spend two weeks in the NICU after birth. Besides writing poetry and detective novels, Britney loves making jewelry, creating collages, taking walks and hikes (so much more fun with kids now!), singing duets with her husband, reading voraciously, watching Call the Midwife and Star Trek, painting nail art, and cloud gazing. She cries at the same part in Encanto every single time, and her fondest dream is to stumble upon a wardrobe that takes her to Narnia.
