Laura Kauffman is a poet, author, and spiritual director from the Loess Hills of Iowa. She's written two books of poetry ("What Remains" and "Carolina Clay;" Dustlings Press) and one book of prose ("Enough for Now: Drawing close to Jesus in Spiritual Direction and Contemplative Prayer;" Lexham Press, release date 2026). She's currently a student in Western Theological Seminary’s “Sacred Art of Writing” doctoral program, and a practicing spiritual director. She lives in the hills of Iowa, on thirty acres of wooded prairie, with my favorite humans (three boys and their dad).
