Lucy Swan is an undergraduate student in her fourth year at Concordia University Irvine. She studies history and poetry. Lucy believes that history and poetry in cooperation offer a fuller understanding of our particularly personal and universally immanent God. Her writing, often free verse, aims to reflect this synthesis. She is inspired by the works of Billy Collins, Daniel Johnston, Mary Karr, and David Foster Wallace. Her poetry appears in Concordia’s The Aerie (2024, 2025), where she now serves as an editor.
